From the inauguration of our company in 1919 up until the present, while responding to the needs of a wide range of customers through a focus on the manufacture of filter paper products, we have been involved in filter media development, research and the supply of filter products.

I believe that the most important goal of the work that we are undertaking is to enable people around the world to lead peaceful, comfortable lifestyles. What can we do in order to achieve this goal? What kind of contributions can we make through utilization of the work we are doing? Through innovations in our company's technology we intend to continue to provide products that will help support the creation of comfortable lifestyles for our customers while constantly keeping these questions in mind.
Also from this perspective, the global environment is an integral part of our business activities, and as such we intend to undertake work while constantly taking into consideration potential effects on the environment, and at the same time make contributions to preservation of the environment through the creation of environmentally friendly products.

In addition, with today's growing momentum towards globalization I believe that we are in an age in which Japan must be constantly aware of the status of its relationships with China, the South East Asian nations, and the USA, and in which we need to seriously question the value of our existence.
Under these circumstances we established the Shanghai Azumi Filter Co., Ltd. in 1995, and the Shanghai Azumi Daido Filter Co., Ltd. in 2003 in Shanghai, China. Both of these companies process filter products and we intend to make efforts to effectively utilize this trend towards globalization through future corporate activities of this kind.

Our company has successfully carried out its business operations for over 80 years only through the support of an extremely wide range of customers.
